At the 2017 ‘Pokal Loka in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, she won the U16 Giant Slalom and finished second in Slalom. She also won the USSA U16 National Championship Giant Slalom and finished second in the Super G at Snowbird, Utah.

She was named to the New Zealand squad for the Pyeongchang 2018 Olympic Winter Games on the 28th of January 2018, alongside fellow alpine skiers Adam Barwood and Willis Feasey. She was the youngest Winter Olympian in New Zealand history, at the age of 16 years and 70 days when the games started.

She finished 25th on the first run of the World Cup giant slalom in Maribor, Slovenia on February 2, 2019, becoming the first New Zealander to qualify for the second run, but she did not complete the second run.

At the 2019 Otago Sports Awards, she was elected Otago Junior Sportswoman of the Year. Tim Cafe, her coach, was named Otago Coach of the Year as well. Later, she revealed that she was parting ways with Tim Cafe, her mentor for the past eight years, citing a desire for World Cup-level coaching.

In Giant Slalom, she started the 2020 season ranked 10th in the world, a career high. At the 2019 New Zealand Alpine National Championships, she took both the giant slalom and the slalom.
