Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy has found himself on the wrong side of the law. He is in trouble after his ex-lover named Kayla gave details to Business Insider about his violent and aggressive nature during sex with her. Dave has denied all allegations and is suing Kayla for defamation.

Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports is in trouble after his ex-lover called Kayla revealed to Business Insider that Dave was more aggressive than she anticipated during sex with her. She disclosed that after sex with him she was left bleeding and with a fractured rib. Kayla revealed that Dave, 44 would pin her down, choke her a bit, slap her a little, and bite her. The spankings left red marks on her skin. And he would grasp her rib cage so tightly that he fractured her one rib.

Kayla added that during one such sexual encounter, she was left with rug burns and bleeding on to his carpet. He had then cleaned the blood off his carpet. She added:

‘I always think back to it, Like, “Yes, it was technically consensual sex, but that was not the sex I consented to.”‘

Further, the lady stated to the media outlet that Dave would videotape the sex sessions without her consent and knowledge. Earlier, three other women had also made this allegation about Dave to the same news outlet.

Dave’s response to the allegations

The internet personality Dave has denied all these allegations vehemently. He states that the sex between them was 100% consensual. He added that she always knew when he was filming the acts. Dave told Daily Mail:

‘This girl slid into my DMs to have sex with me. She has sex with me multiple times. She told me she enjoyed it. And she sent me videos. She stayed in touch for three years after the fact. She never once complained,’

‘Now five years later suddenly she is very upset? Give me a break. I have all the facts and evidence that contradicts direct quotes from her.’

Dave put up a post on his blog and tried to all the allegations with evidence. He said:

‘Kayla liked rough sex as much as I did. At no point did she ever complain or ask me to stop or act frightened or in distress.’

‘At no point ever during our relationship did Kayla indicate she was uncomfortable with anything we ever did. NEVER.’

He went on to state that they had just a joke about rib injury and she never had any rib fracture. He has screenshots of text messages exchanged between them where she happily has talked about them and given Dave the title for the most aggressive sex. Dave also has proofs that Kayla sent him unsolicited text messages up to 2020.

Dave’s attorneys have asked Kayla to either retract her lies or face a defamation case. They are also suing Business Insider for publishing a fake story. But Kayla is determined to go ahead with her claims. She said:

‘I know what happened to me, and I know what I experienced. I know what I went through, and I remember everything in those encounters so vividly, and I’m just very determined to speak up and share my story and hopefully encourage other women to feel confident to speak up.’
