Jeff Glor was born on 12 July 1975. His birth name is Jeffrey Todd Glor. His birthplace is in Buffalo, New York in the United States. He holds an American nationality.
He attended Kenmore East High School. After graduating from high school, he enrolled at Syracuse University. He graduated magna cum laude with dual degrees in journalism and economics in 1997. He received his degree in journalism from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
