Hollyoaks actress, Jorgie Porter had an unusual engagement. Her boyfriend, Oliver Piotrowski took her down a romantic treasure trail before he surprisingly proposed to her going down on one knee for her. The engagement was three weeks prior to Christmas and in Perth.

Hollyoaks actress, Jorgie Porter and her boyfriend, Oliver Piotrowski had an engagement three weeks prior to Christmas day. Now the gorgeous star revealed how romantically Oliver proposed to her. Jorge, 34 said that Oliver had sent her on a treasure hunt. There were 12 photo clues that detailed and serially explained their love story and how it evolved. Each photo clue had a handwritten caption with a memory of those old days. And the final clue was one that led Jorgie to a lakeside chalet.
In one of the photos was stuck a Haribo ring. Despite that, Jorgie said that all this detective exercise would lead to a proposal never entered her mind. Hence she was surprised. Jorgie told Hello magazine:
“Suddenly Ollie was on one knee clutching an open box. I couldn’t believe what was happening.
“I started crying and so did Ollie.
“He was so emotional he couldn’t get his words out, so we hugged, he put the ring on my finger and then he asked me to marry him.
“Of course, I said yes!”
The relationship timeline of the couple
Jorgie and Oliver are dating since the year 2020. They went public about their romance on Instagram in October 2020. Jorgie was unsure that this relationship would go higher and end in marriage. She revealed:
“Before Ollie, I’ve never found the right guy or trusted that a man would want to be with me forever, but I genuinely feel now like all my past relationships were a learning experience in how to find The One.
“When Ollie got on one knee, I just thought, ‘Oh my god, you’ve said you love me and you mean it’.
“Now we want to be together forever – one of those elderly couples on a bench, years later still hopelessly in love,”
The engagement was at Gleneagles Hotel in Perth and Kinross. Seven weeks back, Jorgie posted a selfie of the two on her Instagram to reveal her engagement. She was showing off her ring in the pic and captioned it:
“OMG“
She followed this caption with a ring emoji. Jorgie wants to have a Greek or Italian wedding. She wants a New Year’s eve ceremony to take place in the UK. She said:
“We could take residency at Gleneagles!”
Jorgie and her miscarriage
Last year summer, Jorgie suffered a miscarriage. At 14 weeks, her scan revealed that she will have quadruplets. But soon, she miscarried.
The two were devastated. She said:
“The day we found out, we lost four pieces of our hearts.
“Realising we were expecting four was the biggest surprise and although it took a little while to get our heads around we were so excited about becoming parents.
“We knew the risks of a multiple pregnancy but it was impossible not to look forward and plan the future. I had imagined myself being a mum of four and I loved the idea.
“I hope that simply by speaking about the miscarriage I can help other women going through the same thing and perhaps that will be of some comfort, to realise they’re not alone,”
