The couple had a joint interview with Vogue magazine. Machine explained that the ring has a thoroughbred Colombian emerald and a diamond as the two gems. He added the emerald is “just carved into the teardrop, straight out of the mine”.

Elaborating further, Machine said:

“The concept is that the ring can come apart to make two rings. When it’s together, it’s held in place by a magnet.”

“So you see how it snaps together? And then it forms an obscure heart. And you see this right here? The bands are actually thorns. So if she tries to take it off, it hurts…”

Why would Machine want to hurt his fiancee in this way? According to him Love is pain. But her fans were not happy and tried with online messages to warm her of the impending danger ahead.
