Later, the two wed after one year of their engagement at St George’s Chapel, Windsor. Prince Harry had designed the ring himself. And had gifted it to Meghan when he proposed to her during one of their trips to Botswana. It has a central 3-carat diamond and this is flanked by smaller diamonds of 1.5 carat each. “The two other diamonds came from Princess Diana’s collection – another touching tribute to Princess Diana from her youngest son.”

“Representing a rich history, it is only fitting that the wearer of a cushion-cut diamond isn’t afraid to look back to the past when moving forward.”

“The cut of this diamond also creates a kaleidoscopic look when hit with light, representing the unique and complicated nature of the person who wears it.”

The change in Meghan’s engagement ring

In 2019, when Meghan attended the summer royal event called Queen’s Trooping of the Colour, paparazzi noticed that the engagement ring of Meghan has changed a bit. The three diamond pieces remained the same. But instead of yellow hold, the band was now a diamond eternity band. The royal couple did not issue any statement on this matter.
