Mike Fried, reputed jeweler and CEO of The Diamond Pro company told Hollywood Life on what he feels about the ring and its value.

Mike felt that Brenda’s ring is absolutely gorgeous. He feels that a lot of thought and care has gone into the ring designing. He said:

“A ring with this size diamond probably took a lot of careful planning to design. To find a beautiful diamond at 8 to 10 carats is much tougher than with lower carat weight. With a celebrity couple like this, I have no doubt that plenty of precise design and selection went into this breathtaking ring,”

As regards its value, Mike stated that the ring would be costing USD 300k.

Brenda and Macaulay: the relationship timeline

The couple Brenda and Macaulay first met on the sets of the movie Changeland that was shot in Thailand. This was in 2017. They began dating soon after. Their relationship period was a smooth one with no major ups and downs. After your years of courtship, Macaulay proposed to Brenda. She accepted his marriage proposal. This happened shortly after the birth of their first child in April 2021.

Earlier in February 2020, Macaulay had revealed that they are trying to expand their family. He told Esquire:

“We’re figuring it out, making the timing work. Because nothing turns you on more than when your lady comes into the room and says, ‘Honey, I’m ovulating,’”

Their child, son Dakota was born on 5 April 2021. The couple named him after Macaulay’s sister, Dakota who had died in 2009 at her age of 29 in a car accident. The pair revealed the news about the birth as a statement to Esquire. They just said:

“We’re overjoyed.”

They were spotted together outside a few times after their child’s birth. In October 2021, the two were out with the child. They were pushing Dakota’s carriage and shopping.

Macaulay’s past relationships

The Home Alone star, Macaulay dated actress Rachel Miner. The two wed in 1998. Both at that time were 18 years old. But 2 years later, they split. And in 2002, they filed for divorce. Their spokesperson said:

“It is very amicable and they remain [the] best of friends,”

The same year, Macaulay started dating Mila Kunis. After 8 years in 2010 they separated. Mila said:

“[It was] a horrible, horrible breakup . . . I f*cked up. I was an ass in my 20s and I’ll be the first to admit it,”

In 2013, Macaulay started dating singer and actress Jordan Lane Price. They went on dates and were together for Thanksgiving 2013 in Paris. By 2017, it was over.
