There was a time, though, when Paris and Chris were inseparable. Paris also told E! News that she found her future husband.

“I’ve never been surer of anything in my life, He’s so incredible in every way. We’ve actually been friends for a really long time, like the past six years. We just now started being serious in the past few months and it’s really just changed my life in so many ways and brought so much happiness to my life. I feel so safe and he’s so special. After four years together, Paris Hilton and Chris Zylka have ended her engagement in November. This news of break-up has made their fans shocked. But, Paris Hilton does not doubt her decision.

She made the right call ending the engagement. How tough decision was it? When Britain’s Cosmopolitan magazine asked this question to Paris, she simply replied saying:

“It was the best decision I’ve ever made in my life. I just don’t think (he) was the right person and I feel like I’m an incredible woman and I deserve someone so amazing. It just didn’t feel right. I’ve worked way too hard to just give my life to someone. They have to be perfect.”

Reasons behind the split

Looking behind the reasons for the split, Paris shared about being glad to be out of the relationship because it “feels good to not have someone controlling me”.

Paris shared about having trust issues and revealed about going for therapy. Furthermore, she also revealed that this is the first time she has enjoyed being alone.

“It feels good to not have someone controlling me, With dating certain people, [there’s the risk of] not trusting them and the fear [that] if I go out of town they might do something to embarrass me. I feel lucky now to not have that fear because I’m independent.”

In the interview, Paris shared about her friendship with Kim Kardashian. She says Kim is sweet, kind and brilliant. Paris is so proud of her and impressed with her becoming a lawyer. Moreover, Paris said Kim uses her voice and her platform to help others.

“We have conversations about it, She travelled the world with me and we have so many amazing memories. What she’s said is, ‘I really appreciate everything I’ve learned from you,’ and we just always talk (about) how proud of each other we are because we’ve known each other since we were little girls.”
