The Trading Spaces alum, Sabrina Soto is engaged. Her boyfriend, Michelin-star chef Dean Sheremet proposed to her and she said yes. She shared the news of this beachside proposal on her Instagram for her fans.

The HGTV star, Sabrina Soto revealed to her Instagram fans on Tuesday 28 December 2021 that she is engaged. The alum of shows such as The Trading Spaces, Ty Breaker, and Get it sold was dating Michelin-star chef Dean Sheremet. He went down on one knee with a ring and Sabrina accepted the proposal.

Sabrina shared a post with a photo that showed her and her now-fiance posing for the camera with smiles on their faces. She is also showing off her rose-gold banded, David Alan engagement ring. They are on a beach in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. She put the caption below the snap:

“I said absolutely,”

Sabrina’s several friends and fans put up congratulatory notes for her in the comments section of the post. Jonathan Scott wrote:

“Congrats ?.”

Beverley Mitchell put the comment:

“Congratulations lady! So happy for you!!!!!!!”

Sabrina’s costar Ty Pennington remarked:

“Ohhh yaaaa”

He followed it with several emojis of hands in the air. They are all excited and happy for this interior designer who is mother of one too. Her fans also put in their good wishes and wished her happiness in her life.

Dean, 41 also uploaded photos on his Instagram page. He stated that he asked for her hand in marriage on Monday, 27 December 2021. It was Sabrina’s birthday on that day. Dean captioned it thus:

“Happy birthday SABRINA!”

“I can’t wait to continue building our beautiful family. Atlas and I are lucky to have you. (She said absolutely).”

Dean has the podcast Dive Right In with Dean Sheremet and is father of one.

The relationship timeline of the couple

The exact date when they started their relationship is unclear. But the couple began posting photos of each other on their Instagram from July 2021. They had also been on a family trip to Cabo in Mexico. Additionally, they were together in Mexico City, for new filming projects, and during Halloween and Thanksgiving day. The latter they spent in Los Angeles.

The former backup dancer, Dean was earlier married to singer LeAnn Rimes for 7 years and to photographer, Sarah Silver for 5 years. He was engaged to filmmaker Vanessa Black and shares a son named Atlas Wilding, 3 with her.

Sabrina had a long-term boyfriend called Steve Grevemberg. They have a child, daughter Olivia Gray, 6 together. They split in August 2020. She wrote at that time on her Instagram:

I know a lot of you got to know him on my weekly Facebook live and if you listen to my podcast, you know about the break up!If you would’ve told me when we split that we would be such close friends now, I wouldn’t have believed you. Not always, but for the most part, time heals. It’s also important to do inner work (obvi). Now, I’m so happy to be coparenting together. I’m also thrilled that Olivia gets to be with two parents who get along and laugh a lot.”
