The famous gymnast, Simone Biles got engaged recently. Wedding will happen soon and Simone has already began planning for her big day with her fiance Jonathan Owens. She gave details of it to her fans while coming live for Q and A on her Instagram Stories.

The super gymnast, Simone Biles is very excited. Her beau, Jonathan Owens proposed to her on this Valentine’s day and she said yes. She could not contain her excitement and shared details about how she and Jonathan are planning their wedding with her Instagram fans. She had gone live on her Instagram stories on Monday 21 February 2022. Simone revealed that she and Jonathan want a destination wedding. And they would also like it to be a beach wedding. She wrote in her Instagram stories:

“Wedding planning has been going well so far, it’s so exciting for me, I’m obsessed. I don’t think I’ll be a bridezilla because I’m making sure I know exactly what I want. Also I’ll definitely hire a planner [because] between this & building a house, our hands are full,”

Simone and her honeymoon plans

The Olympic gold medalist wants to have their honeymoon on the idyllic islands of Turks & Caicos. Hence she and Jonathan are not considering this spot for their wedding. They have already struck off this destination from their checklist for wedding. Besides, Turks and Caicos, Simone also wants to have trips to Thailand, Bora Bora, Iceland, and Australia.

Another of Simone’s fans asked her whether she wants to expand her family soon. To this, Simone answered that she and Jonathan hope to have kids together one day. It is a definite part of their future plans. But they are not hurrying up on things and taking one step at a time.

Simone and Jonathan: relationship and engagement

Simone is 24 now. She and professional American football player Jonathan started dating in August if 2020 in the midst of the pandemic.

Jonathan proposed to Simone on 14 February this year. On 15 February, she took to her Instagram to share the happy news with her social media followers. She said that she and Jonathan both are related and on cloud 9. She shared wonderful photos of the day. Jonathan was on one knee inside a gazebo. Captioning the post, the gymnast wrote:

“THE EASIEST YES. I can’t wait to spend forever and ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! Let’s get married FIANCE!”

Later, she put up a video and showed of her engagement ring. In it, she was also jumping up and down smiling and seemed excited. She captioned this video post:

“The day after,”

“Still on cloud 9 and in complete shock.”

She added:

“We are over the moon,”

Simone had some work in LA the next day after her engagement. But she thanked her fans for their wishes and said that she cannot wait to return to Jonathan and celebrate the engagement properly.

Earlier, Simone was in a relationship with fellow gymnast Stacey Ervin Jr from August 2017. But they broke up in March 2020.
