People were astonished because she had never spoken or posted about any engagement on her social media. Hence, when she made an appearance on The Graham Norton Show on 10 February 2022, the host asked her whether her beau, Rich Paul proposed to her or not. To this, Adele have a very diplomatic answer. She said:

“If I was [engaged], would I ever tell anyone if I was or wasn’t?”

Adele wants a baby next year

Adele has earlier expressed her desire to have a second baby. After her split from ex-husband, Simon Konecki, Adele had given an interview to Oprah that aired in November 2021 on CBS. She had said:

“I would like more children. It wouldn’t be the end of the world if I didn’t because I have Angelo, but yeah, I think so,”

Angelo is her son with Simon. He is now 9 years old. She had also praised Rich and called him very smart and hilarious.

She reconfirmed her desire for a baby on the Graham Norton show saying:

“It [Las Vegas Residency] has to happen this year because I’ve got plans for next year. Imagine if I have to cancel because I am having a baby?”

“I tried my hardest and really thought I would be able to pull something together in time. I regret that I kept going until that late in the day. It would have been a really half-arsed show, and I can’t do that,”
