Thomas Wells: A tragic accident claims the life of this singer cum multi-instrumentalist!

He was just 46. The Voice star Thomas Wells died on 13 November 2021 after he was accidentally dragged into the industrial conveyor belt at the tire factory he used to work in. His wife, Jessica posted the sad news on her social media.

It was a sudden unexpected death of the ever-smiling singer and former X Factor contestant Thomas Wells. He used to work at a tire factory situated in Idabel, Oklahoma. The automatic conveyor belt at this tire manufacturing plant pulled Thomas into it, dragged his body, and he could not free himself.

Ideally, the machine should stop automatically. But this did not happen. This led to his death. After the incident, he was rushed to a nearby hospital. But the doctors there proclaimed him dead.

Thomas’s wife, Jessica put up a post about his death on her social media. She revealed that they airlifted him to a larger medical center in Tyler, Texas. But they could not save him.

She said that he was “а one-of-а-kind person who аlwаys hаd а smile on his fаce аnd tried to mаke people lаugh”. She also added that “he would sometimes bust out singing аnd didn’t mind the spotlight”.

Jessica put up a video on her Facebook from his grave on Thanksgiving day and wrote:

“It was the worst day of my life because I lost my husband, but the best day of my life because God told me I was home,”
“I know a hundred million percent that Thomas is waiting for me there.”

There was a wake on 19th November 2021 and his family and relatives put him to rest on 20th November 2021. RIP.

Thomas’s parents are Ricky and Rosemary Dean. He has a sister called Brandi who is also married. His brother-in-law is Robert Williams. He shares 3 children with his wife. The couple was in a marital relationship for 17 years. Many condolences poured in for this star.

Thomas loved music. But for a living he used to work in the tire company. As per the audition record, Thomas Wells was а multi-instrumentаlist who had self-learned. He started first singing in a local choir. He practised a lot and his love for singing brought him to the platform of ‘X Fаctor’ in 2011.

Thomas later also participated in ‘The Voice,’ ‘Americа’s Got Tаlent,’ аnd also in ‘The Winner Is’.

His obituary reads:

“Thomas had an amazing voice and loved to sing hymns and contemporary music,”

“He always had a smile on his face and he liked to joke around and make things difficult for people. He was a great artist and was always the center of attention.”
