But Ulrika Jonsson in an interview has revealed that she is now not looking for Mr. Right who can make her life wholesome, so to say. But she is searching for someone who is funny. She would not like to have a serious companion at this age.

TV presenter Ulrika Jonsson is signed in for the TV show Celebs Go Dating. She is 54 now and in an interview has revealed what she expects from the show. Ulrika disclosed that at her she now she is looking for someone who can make her laugh. She is no more on the lookout for ‘the one’s soulmate. She is very clear on what she requires in the new man in her love life. In short, she preferably is not looking for love on the show. She only seeks humor and happiness in life instead.

Ulrika said:

“I can’t bear arrogant, cocky people. But being shy is painful. You want somebody who’s confident.

“Funny is so sexy and so brilliant. We all want to be laughed into bed, right?”

On Loose Women show, she added:

“I want someone to enhance my life and I am not looking to settle down, get married or have kids.”

The star disclosed that she has been dating young men who have been 28 years younger to her. And the youngest date was just 26 years old. Ulrika stated:

“Recent ones, I’ve only really had dates, I guess, I’ve not had a relationship with anybody – but the dates have been a little younger, yes.

“They didn’t know I was Ulrika Jonsson, which was great.”

“That’s the dream, to have someone just take you for who you are. I guess the youngest was 26. So yeah 26, 30 ish.”

Ulrika has never been shy of being frank to the world about her thinking and ideas. She had three marriages in the past and has four kids from her relationships.

Ulrika’s first marriage was to cameraman John Turnbull. They wed in 1990 and share a child a son together. Ulrika finalized her divorce with John in 1995. Her second husband was Lance Gerrard-Wright. He was a contestant on her TV show Mr Right. They wed in 2003 and have also a child, a daughter together. They parted ways in 2006. Prior to her second marriage, Ulrika was dating hotelier, Marcus Kempen from 1998 to 2000. They have daughter named Bo together. Bo is now 21 years of age.

Ulrika’s third husband was Brian Monet. They were together for a decade and divorced in 2019. Try he couple share a son named Malcolm. And he is now 13 years old. Her marriage was in trouble in the last few years. In 2017, she had revealed to Weekend magazine of Daily Mail:

“He gets on my nerves and I get on his, but I feel that I can be myself with him and I’ve never felt that with anyone.

“I know I’ve changed, and the menopause has been to blame for some of that, but that’s how it is, isn’t it? I can’t stop time.”
