Damon Jr. was born in Huntington, Vermont, on November 18, 1982, in Damon Kyle Wavans Jr. and in Damon Wayans and Lisa Thorner. He’s the firstborn of his parents’ four daughters. At an early age, his father and his uncles encouraged him to pursue a career in acting and he made his performance debut at the age of 12 in the films of his father, ‘Blankman’ (1994).
