He was murdered on January 10, 2019, in Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico. He was traveling on a motorway along the Eduardo Conde Avenue intersection Bellview street in Santurce.

According to a police statement, he was shot eight times while riding a motorbike in the street and was hit in the head and hip. Immediately, he was taken to the Río Piedras Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
