It is a diamond and sapphire engagement ring for Princess Maria Laura of Belgium who is based in London. Her boyfriend, British investment banker, William Isvy proposed to her and she said yes. The Palace released the photos of her engagement.

Princess Maria Laura of Belgium, 33 is engaged. She is the granddaughter of King Albert II of Belgium and niece of King Philippe of Belgium. And her boyfriend-turned-fiance is William Isvy who works in investment banking and is from the UK. Maria too is based in London.
The Palace published photos of the engagement. In these snaps, Maria is sporting a black floral dress and is standing close to William with her left hand on his chest. The venue is a beautiful leafy garden. She is showing off her dazzling engagement ring with studded diamonds and sapphires. She has put on a minimal make up and has only small hoop earrings as accessories.
The Palace has also released a statement that says that the wedding of the cute couple would take place in the second half of 2022.

Princess Maria Laura’s mother is Princess Astrid who is the eldest daughter of King Albert II of Belgium. King Albert II had descended the throne in 2013 for health reasons. Thus Maria is the granddaughter of King Albert II. Maria’s father is Prince Lorenz who is the head of the House of Austria-Este. Princess Astrid is the younger sister of King Philippe who is the current king of Belgium. Thus, Maria is the niece of the reigning monarch of Belgium. She was in Bazel in Switzerland until her age 5 because her dad worked there at an international bank.
Her siblings are Prince Amedeo, Prince Joachim, Princess Luisa Maria, and Princess Laetitia Maria. In 1993, her family shifted to Villa Schonenberg which forms part of the Royal Domain of Laeken.

Maria studied at St. John Berchmans College in Brussels and John’s International School in Waterloo, Belgium. Later, she went to Paris to study sinology and international relations. She earned a Master’s Degree in international relations and diplomacy at the SOAS University of London.
After finishing her graduation, she did internship at the UN in New York. Later, she worked for Louis Vuitton in Shanghai. She did attend some official events in her home country and also attended some functions with her mother. She had also accompanied her mother on her official trips to the nation of China.

Later, he went to the McGill University in Montreal and obtained a finance degree. He began work with an American investment bank at the mergers and acquisitions division. Now he is into asset management.
