Actress Jamie told host Alexandra Cooper of the podcast Call her Daddy:

“I was really confused by that,”

“Now looking back, like what a weird f****** thing to do. It seems like a weird thing, like, ‘I’ll give you a house if you divorce Dad.’ Why would your kid be able to tell you that?

“Already, these dynamics are messed up, and that’s where I think, too, my dynamics were kind of effed up. Because my sister’s paying bills. But I was a kid—I didn’t have a choice where I put my head or where I slept.”

American singer-songwriter, Britney Spears belongs to a socially conservative evangelical Protestantism family. But on 5 August 2021, she converted to Catholicism. She was born on 2 December 1981 in McComb, Mississippi. Her parents are James “Jamie” Parnell Spears and Lynne Irene Bridges. She has an elder brother, Bryan James Spears, 44 who is a TV and film producer. Her younger sister is Jamie Lynn Spears.

After 26 years of marriage, her parents divorced in 2002. According to Jamie, Britney was the catalyst for this divorce to happen. Jamie has mentioned this in her new book, Things I Should Have Said.

And exactly one year later in September 2006, their second child son Jayden came. The same year in November, Britney filed for divorce from Kevin. In July 2007, the judge granted them the divorce. Britney was into drugs and developed psychiatric issues. Her father, James and attorney Andrew Wallet obtained an order to be her conservator. This ended recently after Britney filed a petition and it was granted to her.

Britney was dating Adnan Ghalib in between before forming a relationship and getting engaged to her agent, Jason Trawick. They broke this engagement in January 2013. She was with David Lucado from March 2013 until August 2014. From October 2014 to June 2015, she was dating TV producer, Charlie Ebersol. In 2016 she started dating Sam Asghari after meeting him on the set of Slumber Party video. On 12 September 2021, she got engaged to Sam.
