Tay Conti and Sammy Guevera confirm that they are dating!
Speculations were rife that ex WWE NXT wrestler Tay Conti is in a romantic involvement with AEW wrestler Sammy Guevera. But no news or announcement was forthcoming from the couple. But now the couple has confirmed that they are indeed dating.

Until now, their fans were speculating that Tay Conti and Sammy Guevera are dating. They were rumors with neither Tay nor Sammy confirming them. But now the couple has gone public with their relationship. Sammy Guevera took to his Instagram to talk about it. He uploaded a couple of photos of their new year celebrations on his social media. In one of the photos, the pair was kissing each other against a backdrop of the figure 2022 made with inflated balloon. Sammy captioned it:
“2022 is going to be fun! #HAPPYNEWYEAR @TayConti_ [red heart emoji]”
He put it up on his Twitter handle too.Tay commented:
“Still trolling.”
But later, she too uploaded the same photos on her Instagram. Phoenix commented on Twitter:
“GOOD FOR YOU TWO!!! You both look so happy, like you’re riding on the high of your lives. Cheers to the two of you, to happiness, and to enjoying life to the fullest. Keep shining!”
Their fans were happy for the couple and put red love emojis in response.
Sammy and his past relationship
The All Elite Wrestling star Sammy was in a relationship with Pam. He had gone down on one knee and proposed to her at an AEW event. But he broke up with her. On 18 December 2021, he wrote:
“I know a lot of you have supported us for a long time and we have appreciated it so much over the past several years. Since you’ve all given us so much love and support we figured we owed it to y’all to let you know that we are no longer in a relationship. We still love each other and wish nothing but the best for one another. We would appreciate your kindness and respect our privacy during this time.”
Soon, fans and media alleged that Tay was responsible for the split. They bombarded Tay on social media and she was forced to stay away from Twitter for some time. Bug now, Tay is back on Twitter and her fans welcomed her back happily.
Tay and her career and life
Tay is a Brazilian wrestler and she is 26. Her full name is Taynara Melo de Carvalho and her birthplace is Rio de Janeiro. Currently, she resides in Orlando in Florida in the USA. She has a height of 5 feet and 6 inches with a weight of 56 kg. She has a black belt in judo and is also trained in Brazilian jiu-jitsu with a blue belt in the latter.
Tay joined WWE in 2016. On 20 April 2020, WWE released her due to budget cuts following covid-19 pandemic. In August 2020, she joined AEW. She wed judoka Jorge Conti in 2017. And in November 2021, she shared that she and Jorge are estranged since a long time. They have no kids together.
