“My ideal type? These days, I am so worn out from life. I do not think I have an ideal type now. I like someone who has a similar sense of humor and who is fun to be around. Rather than thinking about my first love while I was acting, I thought a lot about the freshness of dating. There were similar aspects to when I was dating, but I talked to the producing director (PD of Our Beloved Summer) about the parts I did not understand.”

The young star from South Korea is ready to take suggestions from people around him and friends to know what he should seek in an ideal partner. He took advice of his co-star Kim Da Mi on the sets of ‘Our Beloved Summer’ and asked her for her opinion. Revealing this, Choi said:

“I also asked Kim Da Mi when I needed her perspective. I talked to several different people on set without drawing a line.”

But Choi feels that it would be good at this stage of life if he invests in self. Choi shared:

“My goal for my 30s is to invest time into developing myself further unlike in the past and to impress further after coming across a good project.”

The young actor Choi has a good acting record. His recent work that he wrapped up was Netflix’s Our Beloved Summer. His acting in this series was appreciated and he got best ratings for it. After this project, Choi is working on the South Korean movie titled Wonderland.

Choi was born in Seoul in South Korea on 26 March 1990. His current age is 31 years. He is youngest two children of his parents. When he was in fifth grade, his family migrated to Vancouver in Canada and resided there for ten years. He graduated from Pinetree Secondary School. Further, Choi joined Simon Fraser University. With his parents’ permission, he gave audition in acting in South Korea. He was chosen for the role in The Duo and debuted a career in acting. He was just 21 years of age at that time. Later, he joined Chung-Ang University and holds a degree in Cultural Studies from there.

In 2013, he debuted on the big screen. Seeing his talent, he got more offers and also awards. His international game came with Train to Busan. Since then, Choi has not looked back. He continues to ride the steps of success.
