American actress cum singer, Emma Roberts 30 is single again. She was dating American actor, Garrett Hedlund, 37 for nearly three years. But now they have split, sources revealed to People magazine. The break up happened a few weeks back. In the last few months of their relationship, they had a lot of frictions and it was a rocky and rough time for both of them. The insider said:

“It’s sad, and they are trying their best to co-parent. It’s been hard,”

The exact reason for the split is unclear. But probably they could not adjust to each other’s lifestyle and thinking. This sad news of breakup cones just a few weeks after they celebrated the first birthday of their son, Rhodes Roberts Hedlund. Neither Emma nor Garrett have confirmed or denied this news.

The relationship timeline of the couple

Actress Emma started dating actor Garrett in March 2019. In August 2020, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child together. Emma had shared the news on her Instagram with lovely photos and the caption:

“Me…and my two favourite guys,”

In one photo, she was holding her growing baby bump and sitting on a window seat wearing a white dress that was off-shoulder. In another two photos, Garrett was with her with his arm around her and both were happy. She followed the caption with two blue heart emojis. Sources told media outlets:

The couple’s previous relationships

Emma was dating Evan Peters for nearly 7 years from 2012 to 2019. The romance started after they worked together in the film Adult World. But their relationship was rocky. In July 2013, the two were staying in a room in a hotel in Montreal, Quebec. They had a verbal fight to start with. After overhearing the heated dispute, someone informed the police. By that time they had started hitting each other. Evan had visible injuries while Emma did not have them. Hence the police arrested Emma.

But Evan did not lodge any complaint against Emma and some hours later, she was released. They released a statement that it was a misunderstanding and they are working to get over it. In March 2014, Evan proposed to her and she said yes. They never walked down the aisle together but split in March 2019.
