American personal trainer, Jillian Michaels, 47 made an important announcement. She and her fiancée, DeShanna Marie Minuto, 36 took their relationship to the next level. The two had an engagement on Saturday 27^th November 2021. She shared the news with the world and told People magazine about it.

American fitness trainer Jillian Michaels, 47 is elated. She and her lesbian partner, DeShanna Marie Minuto, 36 decided to take their relationship to the next higher level. Jillian proposed to her girlfriend on Saturday 27^th November 2021. Jillian told People magazine:

“DeShanna is ‘all the things’ — beautiful, smart, funny, creative, quirky, passionate … I could run down the list of adjectives. Those characteristics obviously attract you to someone. But it’s the quality of their character that makes you think ‘Thank God for this person laying next to me’ every night when you fall asleep,”

Jillian added:

“It’s easy to stay together when everything is going great, but when real life sets in and things get messy, challenging, scary, and even downright ugly — that’s when the truth reveals itself. And this woman has revealed herself to be strong beyond measure, wise beyond her years, and loving beyond my wildest dreams. I am so grateful to officially call her mine,”

Jillian popped the question to her girlfriend, DeShanna with a 7-carat emerald-cut diamond that was flanked by two single carats, trapezoid diamonds on each side. A family friend and specialty jeweler had designed the stunning piece and H&H Jewels had made it at their Miami branch.

The couple is in a romantic relationship since 2018. They celebrated their third anniversary recently. Jillian wrote on her Instagram on the occasion:

“‘We are all asleep until we fall in love’ Happy Anniversary @deshannamarie ❤️ I adore you,”

Earlier in 2020, during their second anniversary, Jillian had again taken to social media to thank DeShanna for her intense love and teachings. She had captioned a photo of DeShanna:

“I thank you for showing me how much love gives and how hard it works” and “for teaching me something new everyday.”

“Thank you for making me a better person. Thank you for being you and sharing yourself with me. I love you more.”

Earlier, the personal trainer had revealed to People how she and DeShanna do their workouts together. She had also expressed that though DeShanna was a college athlete, Jillian’s workouts are tough for her to perform. She had said:

“What’s interesting about DeShanna is she was like, a D1 athlete — some crazy great athlete … and is very fit, very lean, and was like, ‘Okay, I’m going to start working out. And so I was like, ‘Alright babe.’ ”

“I gave her a little routine and she was like, ‘I can’t walk, I’ve been zombified, I hate you,’ and then, over a couple of weeks … she’s like, I just ran my mile in seven minutes and 15 seconds,”
